Service Before Self is an article that sheds light on the mental health of people in the United States military. The article provides first hand accounts from men and women who are currently serving, have served or have family members who have served in the military.
The design is patriotic and reflective of war propaganda posters while the photography is sullen and troubling. This juxtaposition brings forth the severity of the subject and teaches the reader about the lack of support for mental illnesses. Photography by Alexandra Genova |
